I Know It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll, But I Like It.
Few solo-entrepreneurs can afford an in-house marketing specialist or full-blown public relations firm, especially when bootstrapping a start-up or growing a consulting practice.
In today’s online business world, you are expected to:
- develop a personal brand that effectively highlights your unique perspective and talents
- have a personal website that converts readers to customers
- be a media darling who is sought after for insights and quotes
- and produce quality content that demonstrates you are the expert your clients are searching for – literally, on Google.
With that in mind, this website is designed to provide practical “do-it-yourself” personal branding skills for entrepreneurs marked with my signature style of fun lyrical references and personal insights.
5 Things You Oughta Know…
I am Brandspiration ™. You know how everyone seems to have a friend that can randomly recite movie quotes – anytime, anywhere, and for any reason? I’m that friend hyped up on song lyrics. I talk in lyrics. I think in lyrics. I dream in lyrics. So when it came to creating my signature philosophy of breaking down branding tactics into relatable information for everyday entrepreneurs, Brandspiration was born.
I Go Big. At 19, my first goal was to work in a modeling agency. So, I showed up to John Casablanca’s Modeling School and Agency in Winter Springs, Florida with resume in hand and a smile on my face. Shortly thereafter I was running the office and assisting the head agent. At 21, I became the youngest Public Relations Director for the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. At 30, I launched my company that specializes in entrepreneurial branding just one month after my son was born. At 32, I published my hottest-selling Kindle book, “Brandspiration: My Momma Said…” right after my second son was born. Just wait and see what I have in store for you next…
I love The Beastie Boys. The first time I heard them was in 1987 while on a hayride at the Philadelphia Zoo. The song? Fight for Your Right (to Party). I’ve been a devoted fan ever since. I once won a radio contest because for reciting just about all of their lyrics. Throughout my life and career, the Beastie Boys have inspired much of my success.
I have a weakness for Cupcakes. Especially when paired with a quad-shot of espresso. I’m gonna lay down the sugar here… just like my clients, each one can be an individual creation – different designs, different flavors, and different tastes. If we’re having a quick meeting, you can bet I’ll suggest a cupcake bakery instead of a bland coffee house.
I live by the motto, “Give it all you got!” My passion comes through in all that I stand behind – my family and friends, my business and clients, my causes and charities. I don’t believe in doing anything halfway. Tenacious, high-energy, and passionate people are my favs.
